In south africa the smallest currency value available is 10c so why does pick and pay choose to round off cash payments to the 10c but if you pay by debit card they charge you the cent amount which is no valid currency.
By paying cash i give pick an pay a MASSIVE headache of having to deal with the cash and have to pay to handle the case, but by card the payment is in the bank account the minute you press the button no cash handling fees nothing, yes a card fee but it is so small and the customer pays most of that in any case. I WANT PICK AND PAY TO DO AS THEY HAVE IN ALL THE YEARS ROUND OFF to the LEGAL CURRENCY WHICH NOW IS 10c. It is a matter of principal that this should be done. The price should be no different to someone paying cash to someone paying by debit card which is treated as a cash transaction. In future I will be paying the amount due to the nearest rand by card and the difference by cash whatever that may be.
