We received a few clothing items from my parents for our little girl. They were winter clothes that we received as a gift. Unfortunately they were too big. My wife tried to exchange them during winter for smaller items, but Woolworths did not have the sizes. So she now tried to exchange them for Summer Clothes at Woolworths Centurion, only to be told by customer care that they will only give her R25 for each item, although they had the Original Price tags on with an average price of R150. I phoned customer care, they told me that without a slip that would be the price. And that I have until the 6th of September to exchange them, after which these items will carry no value. I explained to them that I do not have the till slip as it was a GIFT. They told me its policy end of story. When I told them that I won't be supporting Woolworths again I got a couldn't care less reply that one can expect from a call centre agent that gets a monthly salary regardless of their service given. Once again, showing you how companies hide poor service behind "Company Policy".
I am really outraged at Woolworths. We buy at Woolworths allot. Won't be supporting them in a hurry again.
