I went to the store on the 4th September 2013, to buy Bokomo Cornflakes they were special for R29.99 for 1kg as per their advertisement. I got to the store saw that NIDO 1 was priced R179.99 and a Tomme Tippee bottle was R79.99. The problem began when I got to the cashier, the cornflakes were R42.99 and then I asked the cashier about the price and she asked one of the cashier there who said only 1kg were on special and I made them aware that I had a 1kg. The transaction was cancelled and one of the cashiers went to get me the correct one as the one I had wasn't. Twenty minutes later I was still waiting, I then decided to pay for the two items I had, to my shock NIDO was R199.99 and the bottle was R99.99. I left the store with nothing and no explanation nor an excuse. I don't think I will ever buy from Southgate, why is their barcode prices on the shelves different to their prices on the system???
