I was given a Bauer frying pan to the value of R350 as a gift. I initially wanted to get the one for R599 with the glass lid and thought i could exchange this and pay the difference. Upon going to Game store in west street i explained that this was a gift and that i had the proof of purchase and wanted too exchange it for the more expensive one. To my surprise they REFUSED to change it even though it was brand new and i had the proof of purchase all because it didn't have the original card board that it came with. I explained that it was a gift. I was appalled at the lack of interest to at least try and help. I cannot believe that Verimark / Game would refuse me the opportunity of buying this at a higher value just because it didn't have a cardboard!
