It was my daughter's birthday on 3rd September 2013.
I took my mom and my daughter shopping in Parow Centre.
I knew I wanted to get a trampoline for my daughter's 5th birthday, I had my mom distract her, while I got the trampoline.
The guy that assisted me in the sports section seemed very helpful.
He checked if the product I wanted was is stock, and I was extatic that they had what I was looking for.
The trampoline that I was purchasing was R2, 000. It was a huge and heavy box.
I asked if they could gift wrap it, as my daughter was with me in the car and it was a surprise.
I was so shocked when the sales team smirked and said it was not christmas everyday... how can they speak to customers like that? I was disgusted. Then I had to beg that they speak to management just to wrap the box. The guy left, went around the corner and came back saying: "Sorry! We only do gift wrap for Christmas", I can understand that wrapping is not a free service and I was willing to pay. It was a special birthday and it was a gift valued at R2, 000 (even asked just to wrap the sides displaying pics, they said No. I'm very unhappy about my experience there. It leaves me with bitterness. Horrible experience
