I visited Hirsch's Meadowdale on Sunday, 25 August 2013, wanting to purchase a sound system. The sound system was not connected up so I could not listen to it. I asked Roshan Raghunandan, who was assisting me at the time, to please arrange for the system to be connected, as I wasn't prepared to pay R7, 000 for a sound system which I'd not had the opportunity to listen to first. He agreed that he could set it up for me, and asked that I called him to arrange set up when I was ready to - he couldn't do it on Sunday. I called him on Friday morning, 30 August, to arrange for that same afternoon. He confirmed that he would have the system set up by 16:00, no problem. I arrived at Hirsch's around 15:35, granted - I was early. He said they hadn't started setting up yet, but it would take 'no time to set up', so I said that I would browse around the shop, as I needed a few other things too. At 16:05. they could still not get it set up. He then came to me and said they were struggling, but that he "doesn't have stock anyway. That one is the last one". On Sunday, just 5 days before, he confirmed that they had 2 in stock. He wasted my time and his attitude was a disgrace.
