I have bought a Sound system and also bought an extended guarantee of R879.00 at a furniture shop. I have a year with it and now two of my speakers are making a funny noise while I am playing my sound and I have never played it to 3/4 of its volume, I suspected that it is a factory fault, but when I went to the shop they say the guarantee does not cover speakers but only the amplifier, and I have to be quoted R2982 for both the speakers to be fixed. I find it unfair after I have paid a lot of money for this radio and according to me, a guarantee of a sound system should cover everything. What can I do?
