I closed my foschini account in May 2012 including all benefits and receiving of a Club x magazine. This is evident on my account records. However, for whatever reason Foschini kept billing me monthly for a magazine which I had asked to be cancelled in May 2012. Furthermore, the magazine which posted to an address that i no longer reside at so I had no knowledge that this was occurring! Now my personal banker that my account has been listed as a credit default at the ITC- the balance owing being R142.00. This is ridiculous!! I am livid!! Why should i pay for something i didnt want and had opted to cancel in May 2012. I have addressed the matter with Foschini head office- they apologise and say they will take up the matter with Vericred--but instead they DO NOTHING (when it is clearly their faul(). I will be taking legal action against Foschini for this!!
