Got card but forced to pay cash as store ioff-line

Went to Woolworths on 23 Jan 2013 at 19h00. Shopped and filled my trolley, only to be told when I got to the till that I would have to pay cash. Now I have 4 objections to this: 1. I get 3% loyalty points cashback which I would not get with this transaction (of R 987), 2. I was not prepared to withdraw the cash from my account, and hence the reason that I shop using a card in the first place to plan any cash usage, 3. the ATM was clearly under stress, as one was only able to withdraw cash approximately 5 minutes after the pervious client had completed his transaction, 4. Really. Clients should have been warned BEFORE they started shopping that they can only pay by cash. Not fun. Especially after a hard day's work at 19h00. Also poor show for Woolworths. Your standards are usually so high.
