I went to Rynfield SuperSpar to buy a R100.00 Worldcall card. After paying, the slip printed out as R100.00 Telkom.
When I mentioned this to the cashier, she told me she can do nothing about it as the slip had printed. She was pretty short about it too. I then called who I presume was in charge and he told me the same thing.
I do get that once an airtime slip has printed, it cannot be refunded. But, I have serious objections to being forced to pay for somebody else's mistake. I wouldn't have minded paying R100.00 for a voucher utterly useless to me had they not reacted as though I was the one in the wrong.
I am really annoyed about this. It is not about the money, I can easily afford that. It is the point.
