I have 2 kids in the target age group for the leapster explorer. I therefor bought 2. (have to keep peace in the home)
While doing researching, I found that you get a free download (game, ebook, etc) with each leapster.
When I did connect to the store I found out that the free app download card, only allows you 5 really basic downloads only. nowhere on the leapster site does it say this is what youre going to get.
If you want to invest in a learning system - this isnt it. (although it looked great on all the promo material)
hint to leapster - rather make the basic downloads free, and give something meaningful to download
(I am not even going to go into detail about the slow local support, and the international support that kept referring me back to local support for queries about the leapfrog app store)
