I went to Cash Converters to get a salary in advance and requested them to debit my account on Monday the 29/07/2013, they insisted on debiting my acc on the Saturday before. My salary was then only paid into my account on the Monday and only reflected on Tuesday. I have raised my concern to them about debiting my acc when there is no funds available and they just ignored it. Due to there debit I had to pay bank charges of R250 and they charged me an extra late payment fee, how was the payment late if they are to debit my account only once me salary is being paid into my account. And when I called they just said that there is nothing that they can do about it, I have the recording of this conversation. I am very disappointed as this leaves me not only with unnecessary bank charges but also affects my ITC score, and they are just don't care about the affects that it has on me. It looks like this is their way of making more money by charging penalty fees. This is an unethical practice that must come to a stop.
