I bought a Parker pen and pencil set from Something Personal Tygervalley for my husband as an anniversary gift which I paid R359 for. After deciding on colour and type of pen set I wanted, I asked the kiosk assistant to keep a set aside for me while I drew cash from an ATM. When I arrived back it was packed in a gift box and I assumed it was what I decided on. I immediately took this gift box with Parker set to Barksole to get engraved. When the Parker set was picked up two days later after being engraved we realised that the Something Personal assistant sold us two pencils instead of a Parker pen and pencil set I had paid for. I called the owner Debbie and explained what had happen. She takes no responsibility for what happened and said that I should have checked that her employee did her job and put the right set together. Furthermore she refuses to cover costs I paid for engraving. I have a ruined anniversary gift and now have to cover costs of Something Personal's sloppy service. Not fair!
