I bought a leather corner couch from Lewis Furnitures, Randburg in January 2012 on credit. when I bought the couch it had a small tear and the back and I negotiated with the manager to bring the price down. The couch was sold to me as damaged. i have now noticed that the couch has a small tear just below the seat in on one piece of the five pieces. On top of that the stitches are coming apart on the same seat. When I went to complain to the manager he told me that there is nothing they can do for me and the couch was sold to me as damaged. And the only places that are real leather are the seats< the head rest and the arm rest anywhere else is not real leather. My question is if that was the case why was I not told from the beginning because the reason why I bought such an expensive couch is because I dont want to buy again. I have already paid R32000 on it and I'm left with R8000 so I think I have a right to complain. I cant spent more money fixing something I've already paid for.
