Bad service

As from the subject heading it should be clear that I not happy with the service I received. On 23/7/2013 I purchased 2 "star packs" of fresh chicken and other meat from your Mimosa mall store in Bloemfontein. I removed the chicken from its packaging and placed it in a freezer bag and froze the chicken. On 27/7/2013 the Saturday morning I removed the freezer bag and placed it in water to defrost as I wanted to braai the evening. The evening my wife informed me that the chicken has a funny smell and that she was going to defrost the other "star pack". I checked the chicken and it was indeed rotten. I took the chicken and placed it in a container and froze it to be returned. The other packet, nothing was wrong with it. On 28/7/2013 the perishable manager refused to exchange or refund the rotten chicken. He did not even want to take the rotten chicken and return my container. He constantly referred to me as "bru". I informed him that the till slip I don't have as it was a perishable item not something that had a guarantee. The refusal remained with no understanding and agreed to by the store manager. I never had this problem at Pick n Pay, Checkers and Woolies. Lesson learnt. Thanks Game!
