On Friday 26 July I bought a packet of County Fresh Chicken Breasts (3). When I got home I put in in the fridge to use the following day. On Saturday I cooked 2 Pieces of the chicken and froze the 3rd piece. I ate one piece of the chicken and put the rest in the fridge which I fed to my cats on Sunday. Saturday evening I started belching and was not feeling well. When my stomach started to run and my cats started vomiting I realized something was wrong. As I only ate the chicken with a salad I checked the packaging in the dustbin to find that the expiry date for the chicken was 24 July. Why was the chicken still on the shelf on 26 July whose responsibility is it to remove it. I am still suffering and my cats are also still vomiting. This is totally unacceptable. I do still have the packaging for the chicken, as well as the frozen piece as well as the till slip.
