In the past 6 months I have unknowingly bought rotten chicken three times from this store. The first time I realised it was rotten, I took it back to get a fresh one. I was assisted in this, but the manager commented that I shouldn't freeze chicken, that I should always use it fresh. Perhaps he has time to do groceries every day to buy fresh food, but I certainly haven't. Since then, I bought a whole chicken, about two weeks ago, and once it was cooked, I realised it was rotten., so I couldn't return it. I had to throw a whole chicken (R65.00) in the dustbin! Today, I took out a packet of chicken to cook, and when I opened it, I realised it was rotten! I will be returning it tomorrow. I am fed up! This is totally unacceptable and incredibly inconvenient as this is the second time in two weeks that I have had to come up with something else to make for dinner on a moments notice. This has NEVER happened at Woolworths. Why can't PnP get it right???
