I bought two packs of chicken breast from picknpay somerset west this evening to have a small braai with some friends, I defrosted them in some boiling water while i got the fire ready only to discover that both bags were full of rotten half decomposed chicken which smelt to high heaven.
I always shop at my local pnp and didn't feel the need to check the best before dates as they guarantee their products are always fresh. These two particular bags expired on the 08/06/13 but were left in the fridge by management. Its closing time and i cannot have me supper or return them. I have just had to throw away almost 60 rand worth of chicken.
Im really disappointed at pnp, again they have up my night.
