I bought the Festive Premium Braai Pack chicken from Checkers Nicolway on the 27/01/2013. When i got home i realised that instead of them charging me R28.99 per kg like advertised they charged me R39.99. I called Nicolway and they said they were aware of the problem and i should come in and they will refund me. It wasnt as easy as that - it took 50 minutes to sort out. The lady at the store said she couldnt help me because they dont have stock of the same chicken. Walking in the store i found that the had a freezer full of chicken then Instead of them just giving me a refund I HAD to take chicken to the value of the refund. The lady needed to give me chicken to the value of R44 as per her manager and because the packs were either more than R44 or much less she gives me 2 pack but 1 Braai pack and another pack of chicken wings - how can she replace a pack that has breast etc with one that just has WINGS - I feel like she was trying to cheat me. This is my money who gives her the right to do that??? And to insist that i have to take chicken instead of my money back??? The staff and manager was very unaccomodating. I had to pratically beg to have this sorted out today. What cheats
