I made an on-line payment using my credit card on the 23/05/2013. I discovered that the company was a and called the credit card division on 24/05/2013 to reverse the transaction. I was told that the payment was not yet authorised but they will not cancel/reverse the transaction and i have to contact the company concerned (which i mentioned that the telephone number does not exist) to reverse the transaction or wait for the payment to go through and later dispute the claim. What i fail to understand is why does the bank do nothing to assist me from being defrauded?
