On Makro's website - under the Samsung catalogue they have advertise a Samsung 46 inch LED TV for R6499.00. I go to the Centurion bracnh only to be told that the product has been discontinued. After a raised my concerns i am told that they just dont have stock - talk about having knowledgable staff. Then the sales person advised me that i can go to the Woodmead branch as they still have 10 in stock. That is the most assistance the gent was willing to offer me - he did not even try to persuade me to buy one of the available items in stock. So after getting the confirmation from the manager that i can go to Woodmead - i drive all the way from Centurion to Woodmead - only to get there and be told they also dont have stock. Shocking. This after i went and cashed in my E Bucks to get Makro vouchers to assist in buying the TV. What a joke. No one offered to obtain stock or provide an alternative as per Makro's catalogue.
