SINCE WHEN IS SEVEN DAYS EIGHT DAYS

On the 18th of june 2013 my husband bought a Samsung tablet from CNA Vaal Mall.By the weekend he noticed that my tablets display is getting yellow. on the Monday night he had his tablet on and by comparing the 2 we saw that there was a huge difference in the displays, mine being decidedly yellow and his being blue and crisp. The next day I took it back to CNA fully believing that we are still in the seven day grace. Big was my surprise when the the sales person Luvuyo told me that no, it was actually 8 days, and therefore the tablet needs to be send for repairs now. it came to light that edcon counts the day you bought it as the first day, wether it was bought at 8'o clock in the morning or ten minutes before closing time. That in my opinion is not fair trade as a day has 24 hours, and I should be able to return it to the hour. So they send the tablet away for repairs, 2 weeks later I phone to hear what was happening. Luvuyo told me that the tablet was still being assessed. so got it back and there was absolutely nothing done it is still yellow. Phoned Samsung, was told to take it for assessment again. did so today was told by marie at CNA she can only help on monday.
