I went to purchase Baked beans on the 25/07, for a charity I help from time to time. The prevoius day I purcahsed 35 loaf of bread, which they helped me with. But today the Rude manager told me I cant buy the 30 cans of baked bean, I took the beans of the self, which his staff member helped me to do. When I get to the till, Petersen says this is not Makro bulk buying. I explained its for A CHARITY and this store is on my way home. He responsed with shame, you can only buy 4 cans. I explained no where does it state 4 per customer and I bought 35 loafs with no problem. I told him CPA states you must have clear signs. He said its his rules and so what about CPA he is the senior manager. He humiliation and embarrassment me in a store full of customers. I requested the regional managers details he laughted and said I must buy a package to get the details.???!!! He and his other staff member laughted and walked away, While I am try to feed the less fornuated. Another customer said this manager wont help you he is generally rude. But Thank to another Shoprite I managed to feed 35 families. With out Sophiatowns rudes. I have already made contact will the media and look out this week shoprit
