Card machine offline, but money went off

On the 16th July 2013 I purchased goods to the value of R89.45 and paid with a Vodacom gift mastercard. I was informed that the card machine is offline. I left the products there, because I did not have any cash on me. The next morning I tried to use the same card at another shop, but was told there is insufficient funds. After drawing a statement from the internet, it showed that the amount of 89.45 did go off the previous day. I when back to the checkers that evening, but was told that it doe snot showed on the transactions and have to wait for the next morning so that the manager can contact the head office, and I left the transaction history on the card and my contact details. I when back the next evening and was told that it is with the bank for investigation. The next evening was the same story, but somehow they lost the copy of transaction history and contact details and I had to give another copy and left my details again. At that point (because it was weekend, I told the manager I will be back on the Monday. I gave them 1 days grace and returned the Tuesday evening. A different manager was on duty. No copy, not contact details and no refund. This looks like
