On the 29/11/2013, i shopped at Checkers Easgate for an amount of R1871.96, my card was swipped once and the transaction was successfull. On Monday 02/12/2013 upon logging into my internet bank banking it showed that my account was double debited. I have since Monday about 3-4 times a day contacted Checkers who in turn assured me that the funds were reversed. It is 5 days down the line and i am still out of pocket, with checkers still saying the money has been reversed. This morning i called my bank who confirmed that there is no pending transaction on my account for the funds coming in and they confirmed that the money has not been reveresed. I have been liasing with Janet on the number 0800010709 and i also faxed my statement to a Ruvoidha on 011 6015374 on the 02/12/2013 who has to date not come back to me. This is unacceptable service. Checkers need to take responsibility for the way that they have treated this matter and also ALL the calls that i have been making to find out what is happening.
