I went to the Checkers in lifestyle centre to. I use my Check card to make payment. The lady at the till broke my card. I left and then phoned my bank to get the price and then phone the manager at Checkers who asked me to come in. I went all the way back and showed them the card and the till slip. I informed them that it will cost me R165.00 for the card. The R165 is for a new card and a temp card as the new one will take a week before its ready for collection. The manager Claudine phones me back and inform me that they will only give me R100 to replace the card and then tells me that I can go in to the bank for money as I need it. I Live in Montana and work in Centurion I cannot afford to go without a card for a week!!! This is the first time that I receive this type of treatment from any Checkers!!! On Saturday its payday and I need to buy groceries now I must go to the bank to draw money to go and do my shopping at Checkers because CHECKERS broke my card!!!
