Damaged hoover machine

I bought a hoover machine from checkers hyper in centurion mall, after two weeks the lid fell off, we took it back to the store, they then gave us a new lid, a week after the new lid fell off as well so we figured the problem was the machine itself. We then went back to the store, they gave us the run around, we then decided to leave the machine at the store and left our contact details since they said the manager was not in that day. Its been 2 weeks and we haven't has any correspondence from Checkers regarding the hoover machine.
