I use a Braun shaver 5612. My foil breaks while in Capte Town & I need replacement. After finding no help to source Braun foils on the internet I phone Diskem to get a foil & am told the Braun products are no longer stocked. I phone Clicks. No foils but I'm given a Braun number. That Braun office doesnt handle shavers & gives me Proctor & Gamble number. It doesnt work. I phone another Clicks & am given a (different) P & G number but warned that the spare parts agent has closed, there's no stock & I should only phone them 5 working days hence. I phone them anyway & quote the model number. The assistant asks the part number & says I should look on the packaging or the part. I have no packaging & there's no number on the part. She says she can't look up the part on the system to see it there is any stock. She takes my details & promises to get back to me. Based on my experience I don't expect to get a foil in the next day or two. The bottom line: I can't shave & will need to buy another shaver. It wont be a Braun. So much for a once-trusted international brand.
