Defected samsung microwave

Received Samsung microwave as christmas gift, it was in a box for 3 weeks, once opened we used it twice then went on holiday, came back used it about 3 times and then it just got very hot when I made something in it that took longer than 10 min and it shut down completely. We went to return it, they didn't want to give us a new one they wanted to assess it first, we made it clear we want a new microwave or our money back as it was a brand new well known brand! Two weeks later we went to fetch it, it was the same microwave, and two days later it broke again! Still Makro does not want to replace it, they "have to assess it again", because apparently it has to break 3 times! My husband wanted to see the manager, but he is never available end doesn't return his messages. We have spend thousand of rands there and this service is unacceptable!! The microwave is brand new, has not even been used more than 10 times in total! At this stage we want our money beck and will spend it somewhere else!
