I called Hirsch on 10 Jun '13 to find out if a microwave was under warranty. I had to chase up myself due to no response a promise to call back. I was told it had a 2 year warranty (it was purchased in May 2012). I booked the unit in on 12 Jun '13. On the 26 Jun '13, I went into the store to find out what progress had been made as I had heard nothing. A lady said she would phone me personally the next day. On 28 Jun '13, a voicemail was left on my landline to say the microwave was ready and that they were waiting for a driver to pick it up but will confirm when unit arrived. On Tue 02 Jul '13, I asked my boyfriend to collect as I had heard nothing from Hirsch again and had no car. He went in and was told it was not ready! Today, 05 JULY '13 I get told that the UNIT IS NOT UNDER GUARANTEE!!! Are you KIDDING ME? Not ONCE was I ever told this. Had this been communicated up front, I would not have batted an eyelid. I spoke to a manager (Jasmin) this morning and all I get is "Yes, it's bad communication on our part". Hirsch has continued to to me since day 1. I now want a working microwave from Hirsch who supposedly prides itself on good service? Show me where!
