I purchased a sharp microwave from the PMB Branch in April 2012 with a 2 year guarantee. After 2 months expired so did the microwave... We then submitted the micro to hirsch's to repair as per the guarantee. Was promised the product will be returned in 2 weeks but ended up taking 2 months to repair, this after numerous telephone calls to the branch and unhelpful talks to the incompetent shameen and equally if not more call centre the micro was returned. The microwave then broke down again and repairs took a further 2 months. Once again i had to resort to numerous phone calls and threats to get my microwave back. After being repaired for the 2nd time has now broken down again for the 3rd time. Hirsch's refuses to take responsibility for an exchange as they are merely passing the buck to the manufacturer. Phil and Shameen have been pathetic in their response times and general customer relations with me, they have no knowledge of the Consumer protection act and their idiocy extends to knowledge of their own products. I strongly advise against dealing with this level of stupidity and idiocy and rudeness. I will be lodging a complaint with the ombudsman in lieu of the CPA.
