Pathetic customer service

On 1 July I went to Pep in Kraaifontein to collect an outstanding laybye of R900.77 I had the necessary cash to pay and collect the laybye. On arrival the lady at the desk informed me that the laybye has been withdrawn and items put back for sale in May 2013 already. I couldn't understand because my slip shows that the laybye is valied till 2 July 2013, which is tomorrow. she then called the manager on my request who didn't give me the time of day but instead walked away to his office instead of trying to diffuse the situation. I called the head office and spoke with a rudy sarcastic person by the name of Schalk who asked if I couldn't read on the slip that regular payments must be yes. Yes but also on the slip is no indication that the laybye is nulanvoid if such payments don't take place. And on the slip it also states that the laybye will be valid till the expiry date. So who is misleading who. I felt so angry because this laybye was not for me but my 8 year old son made it from his pocket money to help out a disadvantaged family of a sinlge mom and 2 children whose home was flooded last year in the winter rains and this child wanted to do somethng good. they didn't even try to
