I ordered a gift from Kalahari which was delivered last week - Order Number: 6212063. The item arrived in a sealed box as per the usual Kalahari custom. However, upon opening the package, I was disgusted to discover that the delivery box was in a better condition than the actual item packaging. Honestly, it looked like I bought a second hand item to gift my Manager with. Being the type of person who takes pride in their work and deliverables in the work place, it was an embarrassment to hand this box to my Manager. The box was tattered, torn, bent out of shape. It looked like it was bought by another Kalahari shopper, opened, returned and then resold to me.
In addition, each item in the package was in a plastic bag - however, none of the plastic coverings were sealed - all were opened.
I am very disappointed in the service quality of Kalahari this time round. After so many years of shopping online with Kalahari, this is the least I would of expected - especially for the value of the product ordered.
Unfortunately due to timing and misplaced trust in Kalahari, I had to sheepishly hand the gift to my Manager apologising to her repeatedly.
