Good day, I enquired about this account with MBD attorneys when they tried to collect on it earlier this year 21 May 2013. I was informed by them that they had received instructions from their client, Foschini that this debt has prescribed and that my credit burea status will be updated.
Upon checking with the bureau today, more than 1 month later, this has still not been actioned.
Please can I request that my status be updated as a matter of urgency as I also enquired with the Ombudsman and NCR and they indicated that the credit bureau status should get updated within 7 days of receiving instruction? Kindly confirm when my status will be updated.
