Additional extras - June Invoice

I received my monthly Markham invoice for June. It was a great shock as I have a very long list of additional costs added onto my invoice this month that I know nothing about. 1stly, I have a letter fee, a sms fee & call fee which I am charged for because Markham contacted me? Is this fair, Is this ethical? Very disappointed!! Surely you cannot charge me if YOU want to contact ME?? How on earth??

2ndly, Markham phoned me about a Funeral cover plan, which they said that they would 1st send off the docs to be filled in, completed, sent off and once they've received the docs, then they'll register me for the funeral cover and only THEN will I start to pay for this service. Not at all whats happened this month. Suddenly Ive been charged staright away for my funeral cover!! Ive had no paperwork arrive, Ive signed nothing, how on earth can you start charging me for a cover I dont even have???

My installment has sky-rocketed this month and is now R334.42 instead of the usual R295. I've been a client of your for many years and to be treated in this manner leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Once Im done paying, I will definitely be closing my account with Markham.
