I called Whirlpool this morning as my refridgerator that is 2 years old stopped working. I spoke to Eunice who told me they are currently offline and she will call me back. Due to her not calling back I then called back and spoke to Balsani who had a BAD ATTITUDE and was VERY UNHELPFUL! She asked me for my serial number and I told her I did not have this information on hand but I did have a product code. I then asked her to pick up my information with other details and she shut me down! She told me that I must go home and get the serial number and call back because she cannot help me! She also advised that I must pay a R390 call out fee as the guarantee has expired even though I tried to explain the situation to her. She shut me down yet again and gave me attitude! I then called back and spoke to the manager Alan who listened to my problem and picked up my details without a serial number which she refused to do! I am APPALLED and ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with the service I received from Balsani! She blatantly refused to assist me and did not even use INITIATIVE! She needs to be sent on customer service training to equip her with the necessary skills to deal with customers appropriately!
