I made a purchase to the value of R746.35 at Pick n Pay Westwood mall in Durban on the 30th of April 2013 and paid with my debit card. The amount was debited from my account on the 02nd of May 2013. A month later, on the 14th of June, I was debited again and as a result my bank balance was overdrawn and I will be liable for the bank charges incurred. I went to the branch and was told I could not be helped as the head office was closed and they'd contact me. I am very upset as I am a student and I had to borrow money to get to Westwood and my parents cannot send me any money due to the overdrawn bank balance. I really hope I will get a response before the end of this week as promised because I have to go home. I am very disappointed because their carelessness has caused a major inconvenience to me and unnecessary debt. Really hope I will be assisted in the matter as soon as possible.
