I called in to cancel my card as it was lost. I made a purchase a few days ago and my credit limit was increased to somewhere around R15000. No problem there, clearly i pay on time and Edgars trusts me. When I called in just to cancel my card as I'm scared someone is going to make a purchase om my card in the mean time, I go through a dueling battle with the agent to update my details which took me 9 Minutes. He wanted to know my salary, etc. Now since I have not skipped any payments and I'm a good client, why the would he want to know that and the rest of the questions?? Maybe if I was a bad payer then I would understand!
Please look in to my account and make sure the card is blocked, i do not want to cancel my account! I REALLY hope I'm not going to have any trouble. This is supposed to be basic operation, just block a card until I get a new one. NOTHING ELSE.
