I chose a throw on the basis of the price that was clearly displayed in big letters with the product's exact name underneath it. When I wanted to pay, the product was about R 200 more than advertised on the shelf. The manager informed me that I had to compare the barcode on the displayed price with that on the product. We went to the shelf where she pointed out to me the minute and barely readable barcode underneath the large price and product name. She refunded me promptly and said she would appreciate it, if I could report the problem to head office, since it was not her mistake but head office's fault. I remarked that putting products under the wrong pricing should be her responsibility as manager, but she was intent not to offer an apology. What a shame to @home for treating clients in this way!!!
