On the 4 March 2013, I purchased items from SuperSpar Lyndhurst. Upon leaving the store I noticed that the bread I bought scanned R13.19 and the shelf price was R9.79. I was asked by management if everything was alright? I told the gentlemen about the pricing difference and was told to follow him to check the prices. When we got to the shelf, I pointed out where I took the bread from and the price. He then went over all the barcodes and told me the bread I bought did not match the barcode of the price on the shelf. I said the descriptions were the same and I should not be accountable for incompetency of his staff. He double checked the price and told me that pricing was only valid for December. I said that was not my problem, and 3 months later they surely should;ve checked the price by now as it was not my duty to check the very small fine print date on his pricing barcodes. He said there was nothing he could do, as the price it scans is he price you pay. I am disgusted by his attitude and his lack of accountability for what is a store issue. He didn't even offer an apology for the mistake and very rudely asked me what I wanted to do! I will never be shopping there again!!!
