My name is samantha i opened a acc with furniture city in december and i was smitten with the package they had to offer it consisted of a sleigh bed with base and mattress, dining room table with six chairs and lounge suit.i was aware of the fact that they did not have stock of the loungesuit so i agreed to wait for it to arrive late march early april is what they said and it arrived on the 07.03.13 i reported the table being damaged and they replaced it with another only for that table to literally fall over while i had guest over that for me was the last straw my chairs were even worse cracked damaged chipped you name it which i am still waiting for them to replace that my base has a nail protruding from it so i put a stop payment on my debit last month i went into the store on saturday and cancelled my contract with furniture city i spoke to DAN the store manager which i was reluctant to do as he was not helpful the first time but did in any case as no one could help me but DAN he told me the contract would be null and void by monday nothing yet so now everytime the bank tries to debit my acc i get charged R30 who pays my bank charges never again will i trust FC i am disgusted.?
