Sold a broken, refurbished TV!

After visiting HiFi corp in April sometime, The sales attendant who motivated me to buy the TV said
-If the TV has a problem, return it to the store and they will swop it, at no cost.
-If I want they to repair the problem, i can call the store or call centre and a technician will come to my home, pick the TV up and fix it, or the technician will arrange to have the TV exchanged, if it cannot be fixed.
The TV took a while to switch on, a week later, it refused to switch on, the problem seemed to be progressive, and after a month, it would not switch on at all! I phoned the Springfield branch, nobody answered, phoned the callcentre and i could never get through to an agent for help!! when i finally did, i emailed the agent my receipt of purchase, and to date nobody has come to check the TV, he advised it would take 48 hours. its been 5 days. He also said if I want to exchange the Tv, i must drive to the Amanzimtoti branch with the TV, because the Springfield one is closed. On inspection, it appears as though the tv has been opend before, screws are missing from the back panel, this means it was fixed before, and i was sold a refurbished TV, panel is also scratched, so dsappointed.
