BAD PROCEDURES

Bought a 47inch Hi Sense LED TV with Extended Warrantee. The on/off switch started to give problems and it appears to be a bad or loose contact. We phoned HiFi Corp who said we must bring the TV in. We explained it is difficult to remove such a big TV from the wall brackets and transport it to their shop. The salesman advised at the time they collect TV's 40 inch and bigger. The guarantee also states in big letters "SIT BACK AND RELAX" Dikeledi however refused and was adament that they can not do anything unless we bring it in ourselves. This whole argument caused a delay of three weeks. After we took the TV in on 10 December 2013 we were advised by Laurentz that we were not allowed to take it in ourselves! We are still waiting a month later for any word on the rapairs which should be a minor change of a switch. All we reveive are standard SMS messages telling us that the repair is in hand?? Dikiledi always promises she will call but she never once did -- pathetic! We bought a replacement TV to see us through over the Holidays and I now utterly regret that I bought this from HIFI Corp. Never again.
