Due to the fact that I was going on holiday on the 14th December, I decided to pay my Woolworths account early so that I would not be penalized for late payment. I made the payment on the 12th December for the full amount instead of paying it over Christmas.
Yesterday I was phoned by a Collections Agency - (I was not once contacted by Woolworths) stating that I need to pay my "outstanding" account. My payment was captured as an 'extra payment'. I was then asked "Did you not get a bonus? If you did, why didn't you pay? " ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
Now I have a bad credit rating with Woolworths as I made an early payment... NICE
