I ordered my elderly parents a microwave online on the 28th April. They have still not received it. My parents have made 3 calls to customer services last week and they were told on 3 occasions that the microwave will be delivered.
I have had to make 5 calls today.
The first call was to the toll free number- that number dropped my call after a message saying memory full.
I then phoned the jhb number- by the way I am in Cape Town so these calls are costing me money- The first call wasn't answered after I let it ring for 3 minutes. The second call was answered and I was put through to customer services- I hung up after 3 minutes. The 3rd call was answered and I was put through to someone in House and Home- after 3 minutes I hung up. The 4th call was answered and I was put through to advertising and thank goodness for the lady that answered, she handed the phone over to Margaret.
This has been a terrible online buying experience.
