I called Checkers Sandown today to enquire on stock and pricing of HTH Chlorine. Chandre took the call and transferred me to the pool dept. After 5 min she came back saying the person is not answering, but will try again and after 3 minutes the call was disconnected = 8 minutes and no luck. I called back and after several engaged tones, she answered again, transferring me to the same dept. After 4 minutes she came back with a "no answer" & I explained my enquiry, she said she will transfer me to the scanning office. After 4 minutes I hung up and called back. This time I asked for the manager but was told he is not there. I asked to speak to any other person in charge and she sighed and told me to hold. After 4 min 9 seconds of holding on I hung up. I called 1023 to get Headoffice's number. The lady gave me their customer complaint telephone number. I called that number and after listening to their "Welcome" message of 6 minutes, I hung up. After 9 phone calls and 35 minutes trying to get a price from them, I went shopping elsewhere and spent R1860. Shocking that they are unable to give a price telephonically and disgusting that their complaints line is a mess!!
