Purchased microwave 21 august worked until 24th was not warming the food was told that my warrantee fell away because i cut the cord we had to in order for the microwave to fit into the built in unit.since repair up until to date microwave has been sent in for repairs 3 times already i have been with a microwave for more than 15 days todate. Please take note that this Defy microwave unit was purchased cash... it is not even more than 3 months old and broken yet again for the 3rd time
I would like to explain the inconvenience this unit has caused in my home life as well as my family as I have 3 children and I am a working mother.
My children really suffer without a microwave as they are so dependent on it because it is so convenient...
When the unit goes in for repairs at the Trade route mall- house and home they take nothing less than 2 to 3 weeks to repair which leaves my family in a predicament.
I refuse to accept this unit back - I want a brand new unit. I am willing to pay in the difference in price should there be one.
I am a very dissatisfied customer as I have bought several l items from House and home and this is really not acceptable.
