I bought a bran spanking new LG top of the range dishwasher. When i got hope it looked like it had been taken out of the box prior to packaging as there were scuff marks on the power cord and scratches on the side of the unit.
It was too late to call that day, but called to report the matter to the store the following morning. I was ready to do battle! - It was totally unnecessary as my call was taken by the store manager who empathised immediately and undertook to have a new unit delivered to me that day! - I was astonished by his totally cool attitude to a quite frankly irate customer (me!).
What a winner! - The unit was delivered as promised and swapped with the one i bought the previous day.
BTW - I bought the unit at a price below that of MAKRO after i showed the salesperson the advert for the same unit at MAKRO. They beat the price and the after sales service was outstanding to boot.
I am going back to buy a new double door fridge, and if they keep up with the same customer ethos those guys have me as a customer for life.
