Breach in Consumer Protection Act and Credit Act

I am not receiving frequent statements. To my shock when I received my last statement, I realized that I am being billed interest. I thought that the sales person selected 12 months in error. I went to Edgars to query the billing. Hetisane informed me that only old accounts still had the option of 6 months and all new accounts are on 12 months payment. I then requested that he check on the system. I opened my account in 1990 when 12 months payment was not even an option. I never bought anything on 12 months, since I have a credit card for that and this way I do not pay interest. I then asked Hetisane who changed my option since it is not something I requested. He could not assist me. He then tried to call the customer service line which was not available. To this date a whole month later nobody contacted me to sort out this mess. My credit limit was yet again also increased without my consent from R5000 to over R9000. According to my knowledge a company may not increase your limit without your consent. It is against the credit act. Further to the fact a company is also not allowed to change the terms and conditions of use without discussing it with a customer!
