On two occasions, Atlas - control room - has given out my personal information for personal use to their employees. 3 years ago, I had an employee pitch up at my house to fight with me regarding a personal issue. Just last week I had a patrol officer sms me (on a personal note) after he was at my house for a alarm activation. Clearly states in his sms, I got your cellphone number from the control room.
This is sick, disturbing and very disappointing. I am a single mother and we stay alone. I pay Atlas every month to "protect" us, yet my information gets given out to complete strangers. How is this protection??? How am I ever supposed to feel secured in a house with an alarm if this happens? How am I supposed to know I can trust the guy or the control room that has my cellphone number, my address and a map of where the alarm is in my house as well as ID numbers, bank details etc.
I will be taking this further and I hope word gets out not to trust Atlas.
